My lower left side is hurting. see details?

i am a man and i have a slight discomfort thats been on my lower left side. Sometimes a heavy sharp pain when i breath in. this has been going on for about 2 days. what do you think it might be? Should i be worried?

you may have pulled a muscle or you might be working on an inguinal hernia….it could be your appendix, if you have it still - I know, I know, the appendix is on the right side - but you can get referred pain on the left side, at your belly button, and even in the right shoulder blade area…other signs of that are fever, diarrhea and/or constipation, nausea, vomiting….in other words - if the pain is really bad, you should go see your Doctor!
