abdominal pain, possibly related to ovarian cysts?

I have a history of painful ovarian cysts. I also only have one ovary (right side; left never formed).

Last Saturday, I began feeling the usual pain in my lower right abdominal area. Within a few hours, that pain had progressed up to the bottom of my ribcage (right side), then wrapped around my ribs and up my back to the right shoulder blade.

I was admitted to the ER, where I explained my history. They insisted that it was gall bladder issues and, after a clean blood test & liver test (no abnormalities), sent me home w/ a request to follow up with my GP. She arranged for an ultrasound of the upper right abdominal quadrant. The ultrasound came back as normal (no issues w/ gall bladder)

I do have an appointment with my OBGYN on Friday. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced pains similar to what I’ve described and have those pains associated w/ something other than gall bladder issues? Is it a weird cyst symptom?
I was also surprised, given my history, that my GP refused to have them scan my lower abdominal quadrant. I should have insisted on it, but I was in too much pain to think clearly.

When did the American colonies stop “driving” on the left side of the road?

Or were we already the United States when that happened? It just seems that every other British colony world-wide still drives on the left, meaning it would have had to be a conscious decision to drive (walk, ride) on the right?

muscular problem what to do ?

I’m 14 I do body building I know is stupid but it doesn’t harm cz I don’t use protein nor steroids just weight lifting to improve in thai boxing I stopped for a mount and started again yesterday it was fine nothing happened I did my five hundred times on each hand of course with 3 minute brake between each hundred and started pain in both arms its normal I’m use to it but what happened today is that when I started the first hundred on my left hand for the first time in my life the lift fall down and I wasn’t able to continue and until now my left arm is hurting in a way that I can’t close it but I don’t think I teared my muscle cz my skin color is normal what should I do ???????? is it that like my father said that acid is filled in your muscles during activity and will pass away after 2 days or I have really teared my muscle ?????

IF you feel ovulation pain?

Do you feel it around pubic area or around sides/hip area. TTC, diagnosed with PCOS (use OPK’s but they dont work on me) and charting. I had a SHARP pain on the right side of my pubic area and it only lasted about 30 min , today I had a sharp dull pain on my left side of my hip….might have been gas.

Are severe migraines considered a disablity in the state of missouri?

I have resently lost my job due to absences from work because of the migraines and hospitalization due to them. And I can’t seem to find another job because of it. I don’t know what to do. I have also been kicked out of school because of my grades droping due to these problems. I’m only 28 and have two kids to raise. I’m not ready to die and leave them with thier fathers due to this condition.

Abdominal pain for 5 years — what could it be?

In October 2003, I got very sick for a week: high fever, diarrhea … lost 8 pounds. Since then, I’ve had odd bowels: some weeks I have very loose stools, some weeks they’re normal.

For about a year after this, I had a dull constant ache in my lower left abdomen. To press on the spot, it hurt. If this is relevant, it felt like an “organ pain,” not a muscle pain.

The ache seemed to shift around a bit. Today, it is slightly on the right side and lower — at the pant line; it’s also painful. Almost like a dull version of getting “goosed”!

I’ve had a colonoscopy, which was fine. I’m healthy and have not lost weight.

What could it be?

THEN THEY TRY TO TURN IT AROUND AND SAY THAT ***** WERE LEFT WING. ANYBODY THAT HAS ANY EDUCATION KNOWS THAT ***** WERE RADICALLY RIGHT WING. THEY OUTLAWED LABOR UNIONS AND EXECUTED HOMOSEXUALS.
STALE, YET ACCUARATE.
MOST BIBLE THUMPERS ARE REPUBLICANS. IF KORESH WAS A DEMOCRAT, I’D BE HIGHLY SURPRISED.

I have sharp, knife like pain in my left hip, any guesses?

I have sharp, knife like pain in my left hip. It usually occurs when I am laying down, on my side, or sitting “indian style”. It also hurts if I spread my leg out to the left. (think of a woman in the missionary position, sorry best scenerio I could come up with, lol, also, btw, I am a guy) I also just noticed that my left hip pops when I turn my leg, but the right one won’t. Bottom line it hurts, but not sure if it is something I should go to the doctor about. Anybody have any thoughts?
