I have had Mid back pain close to my sides(most the time left) for years now(5-10?). After i have been on my feet for half hour or so.What can i do to help this? So fare i have got by using over the counter pain meds(advil ect) and a lower back brace when ever i had to be on my feet for long times. Going to a doctor isn’t a option as i have no insurance or money for that matter. Thank you for the help.

I was bench pressing today and felt a sudden sharp pain at the back of my head. Pain quickly died down after a few minutes but after an hour or so it is still throbbing. Could I have strained a neck muscle?

Ok since July I’ve been getting minor headaches and muscle pain in my back. I went to a chiropractor and my back pain has stopped. But now it seems that if i don’t have a headache it’s neck pain. I already got an MRI and it came out fine, but i’m still getting neck pain and headaches what else can I do?

My father has had a recurring pain issue each December/January (when the weather gets colder) for the past 3 years and it usually doesn’t subside until Spring. The pain is in the IDENTICAL areas each year. He gets a very sharp and chronic pain in his lower back which makes standing upright and walking difficult. The pain radiates into his *********. Also, he has a nagging and throbbing pain in the front/outer part of his upper right thigh and similar pain in his lower left outer calf (top of right leg/bottom of left leg).
Any ideas regarding his health issue?
Needless to say he has sought medical attention. I’m comparing notes here.

For the past week or so I’ve been experiencing what I thought was back pain. Upon further investigation, I noticed that it’s mildly painful if I press on my lower left abdomen, about three inches to the left of my naval. It’s uncomfortable, but not intolerable. When I bend to the right, it hurts worse. I have also missed my period for the past two months, and no, I’m not pregnant.
Any idea what this could be?

I’m not to worried about it but i’ve been sick all weekend with a cold and I’ve got pain in my back, kind of in the middle and it hurts a little to take a deep breath…..I just saw my doctor today but this just started happening this afternoon…..it feels like a muscle pain….any thoughts?
just thought i’d add…i’m used to my back pain being lower so being in the middle kinda threw me off! thanks for the input.

I think i’ll try the heating pad tonight

i am 17 years of age, male, and am about 6 foot 2 and 180 pounds. The past couple of days my back has been killing me, i have never had any problems with my back whatsoever. this was just so random. It is all the way from the middle of my back to my shoulders. But the pain is more severe in the upper middle. I was just wondering if this could be the triggering of a growth spurt considering I have never had one. Ive always been a consistant grower. But Ive only grown an inch over the past 2 years. I also have a good deal of body hair and patchy ****** hair. Can you give me your opinions if it is a growth spurt or what could cause it. thanks for answering.
no heavy lifting or anything like that. just school. and my backpack is so light, it must weigh under 5 pounds so that shouldnt be a cause.
