I’m experiancing chest pains on my left side, they hurt a ton!! It hurts mostly when I breathe (or laugh) and its like a piercing pain. Its goes and comes but it mostly comes. It started yesterday afternoon. I’m not sure what I was doing exactly what I was doing when it started though. However I’m 98% sure I didn’t bump anything into it. Plus I’m looking at it now and it doesn’t look bruised or anything and when I touch it, pain-wise, nothing happens.
No CommentsWhat’s causing it? Should I see a doctor about this? What could help it get better?
I’m currently taking a regular strength tylonel (for different reasons) about 3x a day. Is this making it worse…. or is it helping it and the pain is actually much worse than it is righ now?

I am a 16 year old girl, every now and then i get a sharp pain on the left side of my chest. Its only for a split second but its really painful. It only comes every now and then, but it still keeps happening. Any thoughts at what this could be?

ok…. so today i was really stressed out, and i got this pain on the left side of my chest! it was only there for like 5mins, and it was when i finally calmed down. i had no other symptons or problems!! Could the strees calls cheast pains??

I was really stressed out a few nights ago and my chest was killing me (the left side) it hasn’t stopped.It has been on and off sometime but still sore.Now it seems worse.I am trying not to worry or be stressed but the pain is scaring me now.I have no insurance to see a doctor right now.Any advice on how I can get it to stop?

they seem to come at random times. It almost takes my breath away and can sometimes also have a sharp pain with it. It doesn’t happen every day but maybe once every week…sometimes more…should I see a doctor or is it stress?

For about seven months, I have had difficulty breathing from time to time and have been experiencing piercing and often times, debilitating, pain in both my heart and my chest. A severe ache, sometimes leading to numbness, takes over my left arm and shoulder. This is brought on more rapidly through even the most gentle exercise. I have been to the hospital twice and had an EKG twice and a chest x-ray. They told me to go home and rest and that there was nothing they could do. But this pain keeps reoccurring and I don’t know what to do. My mother had an unprecedented heart attack at the age of 45 with no risk factors leading to this incident. To this day, the doctors have absolutely no idea why this heart attack occurred so they have told me to be extra careful. I’m deeply concerned about this pain but I do not know what else I can do to address it. Any suggestions?

I am currently having chest pains. They start right by my shoulder blade and spreads across my left part of my chest. My hear instead of beating makes a popping noise like a muscle spasm or something. I went to the doctor he is unsure of what it is but i am still in pain. He didnt do anything but set me an appointment for later. any suggestions on what it could be?
