Is it normal for your right side to hurt at times?

I thought i had appendicitis.Because my ab area is tight and at times my right side hurts.I have had bowel movements and gas.So I do not think it is a gas bubble or constipation.I even took Milk of Magnesia to see if the tightness in my abs would go away.But it has not.I am going to the doctor tomorrow to find out what it is.Right now my right side feels like a cramp.I have had tightness in my abs for almost 3 days.Any suggestions?

Dull pain in lower left abdomen?

For about 2 months now I occasionally get this very very dull pain/cramp in my lower left abdomen…I would describe it as my left ovary, lol. You know when you run after you haven’t ran for a while and you get a cramp in your belly? That’s kind of what it’s like except even more dull. I can only feel it when moving around, etc. It goes away for a while–then comes back. It seems to be only around the time of my period (week before and during this time) I am ending my period today and my periods are pretty regular. I missed my period in July due to stress from moving across the country! But before that (for the past 4 yrs) and after that it’s come on time. I was on birth control for 4 yrs until Feb 08. I stopped taking it until August 08. So I’ve been on it a few months again now. Anyways…The pain seems to diminish when I pass gas…Sorry, TMI! I do tend to pass gas a lot because of the foods I eat and I was chewing gum almost all day long. I have stopped chewing gum and eating certain foods and my gas has gone away mostly, lol. I have an appointment at the gyno on Friday for a regular PAP. What do you guys think about this? If you have any more questions, ask them and I will check here and answer for you…Please let me know what you think this could be? Cysts? (No history of any cysts or cancers in my family–Mother & great aunt had endometriosis later in life).

pain the stomach during sex

sometimes, especially after my period, when i have *** with my fiance, there is a sharp pain in the lower left side of my stomach, just inside the pelvis bone, but not the bone, deeper than that. its not all the time after my periods, but more times than not…..any idea what it could be? thanks for yur answers.
no, not a pain like running real fast, like a period cramp, but only when hes in me with ***** or with fingers. sorry about being graphic, but i really want to know.

Round Ligament Pain at 7 weeks? ?

Is it too early to experience these?
I’m having a dull cramp, as well as a pulling sensation in my lower left abdomen area - it’s consistant and has lasted a little over 3 hrs. now.
Isn;t this a little too soon to experience?
BTW this is my 2nd pregnancy and with my first I had these, but during the 2nd trimester, not the first.
They also radiate into my lower back, and are pretty painful. I’m at work so the most I can do is get up and walk around - but I’m stuck in a chair until 4:30 everyday so “moving” isn’t an option.

Twinging pain in my right side while 9 weeks pregnant. Causes?

I have been having it off and on for two weeks. It almost feels like if you have been running a long time and get that cramp in your side. I dont know if its gas or something else I should be worried about. I dont see the doctor until friday so I need piece of mind. Should I call my doctor? Has anyone else experienced this? This is my third baby and I never had this that i can remember with the other to so this is all new to me. thanks ahead of time.

What causes lower left abdominal pain?

For the past 2 days I have had pain in my lower left abdominal region. The pain feels similar to a cramp, or a muscle tightening up. If you picture your fist squeezing and relaxing, that is what it feels like. It feels worse when I breathe in, or any time my body tightens up, such as sneezing and coughing.
1 Comment4 weeks ago I felt the same pain for 5 days in a row, but then it went away until yesterday. It has been in the exact same place all the time. Could this be related to a hernia, or something with the kidneys, or something totally different?

I am not saying in the kidney but around that region.
I was laughing while watching a funny show on TV when I had a sudden sharp pain in the region; it really hurt but after 5 minutes or so, I was fine. This happened to me before but it turned out to be nothing. What could this mean?
P.S.- It was kind of like a really bad cramp.

pain in my lower left pelvic area?

im 14, and i get this strange, sharp pain in the lower left region of my pelvic area. I dont get this pay consecutively or extremely frequently but i wouldn’t say i get it rarely either.
I thought at first it could be a period cramp because i sometimes get cramps prior to my period and while it feel like a cramp, its a little more intense/sharp. I ruled that possibility out since i’ve already had my period this month, and the only time i get it twice is when i get it one the 1st of the month (is that normal??) so what could it be, and how dangerous is it to my health if i dont get it checked out?
