Chest pain while running?

I’m an 18 year old, 6′ tall, male college freshman. I recently decided to lose weight and start maintaining a healthy lifestyle. At my peak (Christmas’ 07) I was 257 lbs. Today I’m at 230. I go for an hour long walk every day at my school’s Athletic Center, followed by some light lifting. Today I decided to ramp up my routine, and after 30 minutes of walking, I started jogging. I wanted to see if I could make it one mile without stopping. I made it (for the first time since 2003). About halfway through, however, I had a sharp pain in the left side of my chest (near my heart). Is this something I should be concerned about? I’d like to continue running as a part of my routine, but I don’t want to if it will jeopardize my health.

Chest pain for the last few weeks?

Iv had a pain in the left side of my chest, sort of on my ribs but it feels like its stabbing me in the heart for the past 2 weeks now after a nite out drinking. It hurts more if im lying down and doesnt seem to go away with painkillers. I work in a hospital and my ECG is fine but my lung function tests are- Spirometry normal but gas diffusion is only 59% of my predicted value.(sometimes 60) Im 21 and of normal height and weight.

Hi
i would like to know if any one know if Sagittarius are good fathers? because my x-boyfriend is a sag. but it turns out he ended up being not that great of a guy at the end:( wanted me to have an abortion after we found out i was pregnant:( but now he saying he wants to be in the baby life after he is born. im almost nine months. he has not been around at all or help me with anything. i am worried because he was very mentality abusive after the pregnancy news:( and left me with nothing moving back to his mom house in another state. and after he moved out two weeks later he was in a relationship with someone else. while i was living in my car for two months (pregnant) because we gave up the apt. he knew i had no where to go and that i was gonna live in my car for a while and did not care. i was raised in a foster home, so i have no family here.
now i have another job and a new apartment. but i have been very depress and with allot of anxiety’s, and worried how im going to get along with him after the baby is here:( because i no longer trust him. but yet i think i still love him too. 4 years is a long time to live with someone. do you guys think that we could ever be together again? supposably he is no longer with his new girlfriend.i went through his profile on myspace and read his recent blog. and here is what i found.

This guy left me for another girl, and broke my heart. He cared about me and knows he hurt me alot.
i dont know whether to write him a message telling him hes a liar, and a fool, and an asshole,
or if i should just ignore him and let him feel bad (he wrote me a note saying hes sorry and that i should **** him)

i get pains a little left to my heart like around my ribs mostly after i eat and sometimes in the morning it been coming and going for almost a year and a half and one more thing it seems to only come around when i think about it

Hi everyone, here is my story, the first time I felt it it was about 3 years ago, and I didnt pay much attention to it cuz it didnt really hurt that much, and I thought it’s gonna go, but once in a while i feel same thing over there, and what happens is a little bit of pain and i can feel and see that side is pulled inside my body, it usually happens when im hungry and need food, or when im so tired need to sleep. now im having it more even when im not hungry or sleepy, the spot that hurts me is on the outside area of my abdominals, on my left side, just bellow my ribs. The first time I felt the pain I tought for sure it was my heart, so next day I played soccer and run a lot, so I know it’s not my heart, but something else, and im wondering if it’s gonna affect the heart or i dont know, please let me know, Doctor is too expenive
